Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. invites a Cloud Solution Architect to design secure, scalable cloud solutions for a global business.

The role sits at the crossroads of architecture, engineering, and business enablement, shaping cloud designs and guiding teams toward practical, scalable patterns. You will partner with Business Areas and vendors to implement landing zones, IAM, networking, and platform engineering within a governance framework.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing cloud solutions in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and Azure services.
• Hands-on knowledge of landing zones, identity and access management, networking and platform engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, automation, infrastructure as code, FinOps, DevOps, SRE or related disciplines.
• Experience balancing business needs, technical requirements and operational considerations.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect who combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, collaborative approach. You will design sound solutions, explain the trade-offs, and help teams adopt them with confidence.

Working at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and business enablement, you will shape cloud designs and ensure that promoted patterns work in practice.

Experience and knowledge

• Proven experience designing cloud solutions in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and service models, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of landing zones, identity and access management, networking, and platform engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, security, automation, infrastructure as code, FinOps, DevOps, SRE, or related disciplines.
• Experience balancing business needs, technical requirements, and operational considerations.
• Experience working with strategic partners and vendors in a collaborative and outcome-oriented way.
• Relevant cloud certifications are an advantage, but demonstrated experience matters more.

Job location

Hybrid This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our offices in Kontich (Belgium) or inPrague (Czech Republic)
