Fednot, Belgium’s largest professional federation for notaries, is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its security program and protect highly sensitive notarial information. You will drive the Information Security team, set governance, and report on security metrics to executive management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS or equivalent or 8+ years information security experience.
• ISO 27001 implementation and audits experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (MPLS, IPVPN, TCP/IP, storage, blades, video conferencing, backups).
• Familiarity with NIS2, DORA, GDPR, eIDAS and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and develop the Information Security team, including hiring and capability building.
• Define, implement and improve information security policies, controls and governance frameworks.
• Assess and manage security risks through risk assessments, penetration testing, vendor reviews and security audits.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, forensic investigations and threat intelligence activities.
• Promote security awareness and drive security maturity across the organization.
• Develop security dashboards and report on security performance and risks to executive management.
• Act as the primary contact for cyber insurance, regulatory compliance, audits and ISO 27001 certification.
• Define, manage and deliver the Information Security roadmap and budget.
