Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is seeking recent graduates to join the Interior Design Engineering team. You will contribute to designing and developing interior trim, instrument panels, seats and seatbelts for European vehicle programs from concept through production.

We target graduates with a degree in engineering or industrial design, fluent English, and a willingness to travel. The role offers a permanent contract within a structured 18‑month Graduate Development Programme and hybrid

Responsabilités

• Design and development of interior trim, instrument panel, seat and seatbelts into vehicle projects, achieving performance, quality and cost targets.
• Investigate style feasibility and cooperate with Styling to secure feasibility.
• Create 3D CAD models and production drawings.
• Cooperate with suppliers and Toyota production engineering to ensure production feasibility of parts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with Homologation.
• Support plant production and quality engineers during production trials.

Your Team And Your Responsibilities

Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:

• Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models .
• Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners.

Body Division Interior design Engineering is responsible for Planning & Design of Upper Body parts for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and development of interior Trim, Instrument panel, Seat and Seatbelts into vehicle projects, while achieving performance, quality and cost target
• Investigate style feasibility and co-operate with Styling department in order to secure feasibility.
• Creation of 3D CAD model and production drawing.
• Co-operate with suppliers and Toyota production engineering department to secure production feasibility of parts.
• Secure regulation compliance and collaborate with Homologation department.
• Support plant production and quality engineers to solve the concerns raised during production trials.

Your Profile

For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• You have good feeling with interior quality and materials.
• You have a degree in Engineering or Industrial design.
• You are available to travel for business.
