Siemens Mobility is seeking a Commissioning Engineer Building Automation to commission, test and optimize BMS for major projects across European Institutions. You will configure software, integrate subsystems, manage user access, and ensure secure, energy-efficient operation.

Based at Belgium sites with ~20% time at our Huizingen office; after ramp-up, on-call service may be required. Bachelor in ICT/Automation or related field, English/French fluency preferred, Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Automation, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Affinity with software, applications and ICT; servers, networks, virtualization, software installation, redundancy, backup.
• Face of the BMS installation at the customer; customer-friendly, patient and stress-resistant.
• Knowledge of building systems (fire protection, security, HVAC control) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus.
• Organized and autonomous; team player.
• Active security clearance a plus.

Responsabilités

• Act as the main point of contact for the Siemens Building Management System (BMS) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate customer needs into an intuitive BMS solution.
• Implement BMS solutions by configuring software, integrating subsystems, creating interfaces, and managing user access.
• Collaborate with project managers, subsystem engineers, and technical support teams to ensure project delivery.
• Maintain and optimize BMS installations through upgrades, security patching, and migrations.
• Contribute to BMS standards and best practices by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
