Role Description

As B2B AI Translator you will help customers unlock business value through AI. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and AI delivery teams, you translate business challenges into impactful AI solutions. You identify opportunities, build business cases, and guide initiatives from ideation to implementation. Working closely with customers, sales teams, domain experts, data scientists, AI engineers, and solution architects, you ensure AI projects address real business needs and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of AI technologies and their business applications.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an AI Translator, your responsibilities will cover:

• Strategic Visionary (30%): Support stakeholders in their AI transformation by helping define long-term visions and short-term priorities. You will design roadmaps, identify and prioritize use cases based on business value, and advise on AI governance and process redesign. Daily activities include engaging with clients to understand their strategic objectives, translating success stories into compelling material, and acting as a trusted advisor on AI capabilities, risks, and opportunities.
• Project Orchestrator (60%): Lead the execution of AI initiatives, acting as the bridge between business experts and AI engineers. You will oversee data maturation, pilot projects with MVPs, and ensure solutions deliver value and operational excellence. Your daily tasks involve facilitating workshops, translating business needs into technical specifications, collaborating with technical teams, monitoring project KPIs, and ensuring AI adoption in production.
• Innovative Thinker (10%): Contribute to the team’s evolution by exploring new methodologies, technologies, and industry trends. This includes staying informed about the AI market, driving innovation, and introducing fresh ideas or best practices to improve our approach and solutions.

Profile

• You own a master’s degree in business engineering, computer science, data science, economics, or a related field.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in translating business needs into technology-driven solutions.
• You have a customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving business problems, excellence and innovation.
• You enjoy being at the forefront of change, questioning the way things are done, rethinking processes and have a natural curiosity, picking up new information quickly.
• Experience in B2B environments and consulting roles is a big plus.

Tech Skills

• You have a great interest in all domains of AI (Gen AI, Agentic AI, Classical AI) and deep understanding of its possibilities & limitations.
• You possess a sharp, analytical mind with a foundation in statistics.
• You are familiar with AI platforms and ecosystems such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• You understand the fundamentals of data, including data quality, governance and analytics.
• You have experience creating business cases, value assessments, and ROI analyses for technology initiatives.
• You master PowerPoint and can prepare inspiring & convincing executive presentations, solution proposals, and customer-facing documentation.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, and relevant regulations (e.g., EU AI Act) is a big plus.

Soft Skills

• You excel in communication, storytelling and you can explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audience, both in writing and speaking.
• You can motivate and inspire others, and you're skilled at fostering collaboration across functional teams without direct authority and taking the lead on new projects.
• You have strong facilitation and workshop management capabilities.
• You have a strategic thinking mindset combined with pragmatism and execution focus.
• You work well independently and like to take initiative.
• You're equally comfortable communicating with top-level management and experts, and you know how to build a network of support.
• You are at ease with uncertainty, ambiguity and fast-evolving environments.
• You are fluent in English and master at least one of the two national languages used at Proximus (FR-NL). Being trilingual is a big plus
