Recticel Insulation seeks an Azure Data & Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Azure Data Factory and Databricks, and to deliver interactive Power BI dashboards.

You will collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions, optimize performance, and ensure robust data warehousing practices across SAP BW4 and Azure platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or BI consulting.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Strong SQL and ETL/ELT understanding.

Overview

As an Azure Data & Analytics Engineer your focus will be on Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Power BI. The Recticel data platform consists of a SAP BW4 data warehouse and an Azure Platform. Data is collected from a multitude of sources in ADF, transformed and modelled via databricks and visualized in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion in Azure Data Factory.
• Design, implement and maintain transformation pipelines with Databricks.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Collaborate with key business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Work proactively on performance improvements and architectural enhancements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or BI consulting.
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
  • Azure Data Factory & Databricks
  • Power BI
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and coding skills in general.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Good communication skills, both with business and IT users.
