Rhox is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer (Medior) to join a Flemish public sector digital services organisation. You will implement Infrastructure as Code for AWS workloads, automate CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines, and support applications running in landing zones.

You will work in a Platform Engineering function alongside an Azure System Team to build-out and operate shared infrastructure, enabling reliable government workloads and a scalable hub-spoke platform across Flemish

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hands-on AWS experience in DevOps or platform operations.
• Three years of CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for operational tooling and automation.
• Practical IaC experience to provision and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Experience setting up a central hosting platform in hub-spoke architecture with shared networking, DNS, logging and monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Extend and operate the central AWS platform, including networking, firewall controls, DNS, logging, monitoring and deployment services.
• Strengthen IaC to provision, scale and maintain infrastructure across environments.
• Automate application releases and platform changes through CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar).
• Onboard and operationalise applications in AWS landing zones, connecting spokes to the hub and configuring required services.
• Monitor infrastructure and application health, and define recovery and continuity procedures.
