Amazon's RME team in Belgium ensures uptime of critical fulfillment equipment. As an RME Technician, you will maintain automated conveyors, robotics, sorting and packaging systems, while upholding health and safety standards to protect colleagues.

You will work in a 24/7 environment, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and automation issues and using CMMS to document maintenance, driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Bac Pro/BTS/BUT or equivalent (min Bac+2) in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical engineering with 2+ years in maintenance.
• Proven experience with planned preventive maintenance systems and CMMS platforms.
• Advanced troubleshooting on material handling equipment and automation systems; reading mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Hands-on with conveyors, motor controllers, VFDs and sensors.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards, strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Promote health and safety best practices across maintenance activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance on conveyors, robots, sorting and packaging systems.
• Use CMMS to track, schedule and document maintenance activities; collaborate with manufacturers/contractors to optimise procedures.
• Provide rapid response to breakdowns and perform advanced troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical/automation systems.
• Maintain and calibrate PLCs, field networks, barcode scanners and print-and-apply systems.
• Analyse performance data and contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement; mentor junior technicians.
