Vesuvius is looking for an Automation Engineer in Ghlin, Belgium, to support their Systems projects in automation and mechatronic solutions for steel making. The successful candidate will be responsible for hardware design, PLC programming, and coordinating technical aspects with clients and teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Automation or Mechatronic Engineering and demonstrates proficiency in English. This V.I.E contract opportunity offers experience in a dynamic international environment with the chance to manage projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Automation or Mechatronic Engineering required.
• Experience with PLC programming and mechatronic systems integration.
• Proficient in English with a proactive and committed attitude.

Responsabilités

• Provide hardware design and automation programming.
• Organize and oversee the drafting work of designers.
• Software programming for PLC, HMI, and robotic systems.
• Conduct testing and validation of automation solutions.
