ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, seeks a skilled ASIC test engineer to join our high-tech team. You will define work packages with the Project Manager and set up test solutions with a test house to drive prototype-to-production qualification and ramp plans.

The role requires 5+ years in ASIC testing, hands-on tester experience, and strong English. You will collaborate with customers to optimize yields and packaging options, contributing to long-term innovation projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics as required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of ASIC testing experience.
• Experience with HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
• Experience in project-based work and coordinating with teams.
• Pro-active and customer focused.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with testers is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and plan work packages with the Project Manager across project stages.
• Set up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Discuss the prototype-to-production ramp plan with the customer, including characterization and qualification.
• Organize volume production after ramp, proposing cost improvements with the customer and test house.

Job Description

• The definition and overall planning of the work packages of the different project stages, together with the Project Manager.
• Setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Discussing the ASIC prototype-to-production volume ramp plan with the customer including characterization & qualification.
• Organizing volume production after the volume ramp phase. You propose cost improvement plans such as yield improvement plans, multi-site test solutions and different packaging options together with the customer and test house.

Profile / Requirements

• A Master's degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of ASIC testing.
• Experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
• Experience in project-based work.
• Pro‑active and customer focused.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Hands‑on experience with testers is a plus.
