ASL Maintenance Belgium in Brussels is seeking a long-term Aircraft Painter to join our heavy maintenance team. You will prepare aircraft surfaces, apply primers and coatings, and help ensure compliance with strict aerospace standards.

Based in Brussels (BRU), the role includes shift work and requires attention to detail, safe operation of painting equipment, and collaboration with maintenance colleagues to deliver high-quality finishes on fuselages, wings and components.

Qualifications

  • CAP/BEP in Industrial Painting or equivalent.
  • Experience in aerospace or automotive painting valued.
  • Proficiency in airless and HVLP painting techniques.
  • Knowledge of solvents, primers, and topcoats.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with EASA Part 145 is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, organization and safety.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

  • Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking).
  • Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns or other tools.
  • Follow technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality, thickness, and uniformity.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of painting equipment and work areas.

Position

ASL Maintenance is looking for long term Aircraft Painter - shift work - for its heavy maintenance operations in Brussels (BRU), Belgium. As part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing aircraft surfaces in accordance with strict aerospace industry standards. This includes both aesthetic and protective coatings on aircraft structures such as fuselages, wings, and components.

The Aircraft Painter Main Responsibilities Are
  • Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, stripping).
  • Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns or other tools.
  • Follow technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality, thickness, and uniformity.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of painting equipment and work areas.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Vocational training (e.g., CAP/BEP) in Industrial Painting, Auto Bodywork, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace or automotive sector is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in industrial painting techniques (e.g., airless, HVLP).
  • Knowledge of chemical products (solvents, primers, topcoats).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g. EASA Part 145) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
