Talent-R is building a fast‑growing Belgian AI software startup focused on financial software integrations across Europe. You will lead AI‑driven back‑end initiatives, designing agentic workflows and highly available APIs while owning the technical roadmap alongside a CTO advisor.

As an AI Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience and 1–2 years shipping production AI, you’ll implement LLM features, improve connectors, and drive innovation in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• Computer Science graduate or self-taught
• 5+ years software engineering experience, including 1–2 years shipping production‑grade AI systems (LLMs, agentic workflows)
• Hands-on experience building or working with AI systems (LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines)
• Hands-on experience building MCPs
• Strong Python knowledge; SQL and TypeScript are a plus
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Docker
• Native French required; English and Dutch are a plus

Responsabilités

• Build LLM-powered features inside the product, e.g., mapping suggestions, anomaly detection, intelligent monitoring, error recovery, smarter onboarding
• Design architecture for highly available and scalable APIs/MCPs
• Make integrations agentic, enabling flows that reason and recover from errors
• Automate how connectors are built and maintained with AI-powered tooling
• Set the technical bar for AI across the company, including evals, prompt versioning, telemetry, safety and cost guardrails
