Yuki seeks an AI Product Engineer to build AI-driven features used by accountants and entrepreneurs. You will sit in the Innovation team, where experiments become product features that ship to customers.

As a close-to-product engineer, you’ll collaborate with Product and Design to shape roadmaps, explore agentic AI, and ensure production readiness across APIs, .NET backend, and frontend integration.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with 5+ years in commercial software.
• Hands-on AI experience: LLMs, agents, orchestration in production.
• Proficient in Python and C# (.NET) with API design skills.
• Product-minded builder who can co-create with Product and Design.
• Nice to have: Databricks, MLflow, vector search, and MCP tooling.
• Fluent English is required for a global team.

Responsabilités

• Run experiments turning AI ideas into live features in the product.

Your Role at Yuki

As our AI Product Engineer, you build the AI-driven features our accountants and entrepreneurs actually use. You sit in the Innovation team, where new capabilities start as experiments and the good ones get built into the product properly.
It is our newest role, so you’ll sit close to Product and Design, thinking like a mini product manager about where AI can add real value, then building it. If you get excited about agentic AI and want to shape where a product goes, this one’s for you.

• Run experiments that ship: Take an idea for an AI-driven feature from prototype to something running in the live product, and be honest about the ones that should be killed.
• Build agentic capabilities: Work with agent frameworks, tool use, and orchestration to build features that do real work inside Yuki, including MCP-based capabilities.
• Engineer it for production: Own APIs, serving, runtime performance, and latency, and be first response when quality regresses in production.
• Land it in the product: Build the feature end to end — the AI part, the .NET backend integration, and the front end where it makes sense, alongside our product teams.
• Co-create with Product: Spot new use cases, help shape the roadmap, and build them with Product and Design.

Job Requirements

• Strong software engineering background (min 5 years) building and running commercial software that customers pay for, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• You’ve built with AI, not just around it: LLM APIs, agent frameworks, tool use, orchestration — in something that ran in production, not only in a notebook.
• Hands‑on with the stack: Python and C# (.NET), solid API design, and you’re comfortable working across the stack, front end included.
• A product‑mindful builder: you think about use cases, not just tickets, and can co‑create with Product and Design.
• Nice to have: Databricks, MLflow, vector search, MLOps tooling, and experience building MCP for a tool or platform.
• Fluent English is a must.

This is a software engineering role with AI at the centre of it. If your background is data science or data engineering, this is probably not the one for you.
