SnapX Photobooth is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to design and implement AI solutions using foundation models and large language models. You will work with customers, product managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI applications.

Responsibilities include data preprocessing, model selection, training, evaluation, and creating PoCs, with emphasis on collaboration and documentation. Stay current with AI advances and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• 4+ years of verified experience designing and developing AI solutions with foundation models/LLMs.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with NLP and text analytics valued.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vector DB, Hugging Face, Llama 2, and ChatGPT.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud services is beneficial.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative AI Solution Engineer with expertise in foundation models and large language models. Your primary duty will be to design and implement AI solutions leveraging the latest technologies, particularly focusing on foundation and large language models. You will work closely with customers, product managers, and development teams to understand business requirements and design custom AI solutions that address complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development of AI/ML Solutions: Develop and implement AI and machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex problems. This includes data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, training, and evaluation
• Data Analysis and Processing: Work with large, complex data sets. Clean, manage, and extract value from these datasets, and understand data needs relevant to the specific AI/ML tasks.
• Developing Proof of Concept (POC): You will be responsible for creating POCs to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of our AI solutions. This involves close collaboration with the development team to build and refine POCs, ensuring they meet customer needs and expectations.
• Client Interaction and Technical Assistance: Serve as the go-to technical expert for our clients, addressing their inquiries, issues, and feedback. During the deployment of solutions, you will provide essential technical support and advise on AI best practices and applications
• Collaboration and Cross-functional Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand business needs and deliver effective AI solution
• Creating Documentation and Sharing Expertise: Your role includes documenting the architecture of solutions, design choices, implementation specifics, and key learnings. Produce technical documents, white papers, and guides for best practices. Participate in internal knowledge-sharing programs and guide new team members.
• Monitoring Industry Developments and Innovations: Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, foundation models, and large language models. Assess new technologies, tools, and frameworks for their potential influence on the design and execution of solutions.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of four years of verified experience in designing and developing AI solutions, specifically focusing on foundation models, large language models, or comparable technologies. Expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics is greatly valued
• Technical Abilities: Robust programming capabilities, especially in Python, and familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vector DB, Hugging Face, Llama 2, and ChatGPT, among others. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and their services is beneficial.
• Solution Development Skills: Proven experience in solution architecture and design, converting business needs into technical specifications, and creating scalable, effective AI solutions.
• Business Understanding: Capable of understanding client requirements and business goals. Experienced in engaging with clients and translating their needs into practical AI applications.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to interact and communicate effectively. Engage with clients and stakeholders for analysis and execution of projects. Dedication to ongoing learning and keeping up-to-date with AI advancements.
