GardPass Consulting & Space is seeking a contractor to support the NCSC Team in Mons, Belgium. You will install, configure and update Linux OS, manage users and security, and configure core network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, SSH). Daily monitoring, log reviews and incident response form part of the role.

You will maintain system health, audit logs and performance metrics, with weekly backups and capacity planning. NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or 6+ years experience.
• Minimum 3 years IT security with system administration and tools management.
• Experience with Linux administration, updates and monitoring.
• Docker and container management experience.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting, IP routing.
• Familiarity with ITIL and service management practices.
• Experience with scripting in Python, Shell or PowerShell.
• Experience with logs analysis and incident response.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure and maintain Linux OS environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and security settings.
• Configure DNS, DHCP, NFS and SSH services.
• Review logs and alerts; investigate issues and outages.
• Produce reports on system health, monitoring and compliance.
• Daily monitoring of CPU, memory and disk usage; ensure availability.
• Maintain inventory of identity sources and external tools.
• Weekly maintenance, backups, performance tuning, capacity checks.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting steps and maintenance activities.
