KU Leuven seeks a highly motivated researcher to conduct high-quality work within the DTAI and EAVISE groups, affiliated with Flanders Make and Leuven.AI. The role emphasizes independent research, collaboration across labs, and active dissemination of results.
The candidate will contribute to both fundamental and applied aspects of AI, knowledge representation, andMachine Learning, with opportunities for teaching and mentoring students in a diverse, international team.

The work will be performed within the research groups DTAI and EAVISE, at the Department of Computer Science at KU Leuven and the researcher will also be affiliated with Flanders Make and Leuven.AI.
The Declarative Languages and Artificial Intelligence (DTAI - https://dtai.cs.kuleuven.be/) section within the Computer Science Department conducts research on fundamental and applied research in the fields of Declarative Languages, Machine Learning and Knowledge Representation.
The Embedded and Artificially intelligent VISion Engineering (EAVISE - https://iiw.kuleuven.be/onderzoek/eavise) is a multidisciplinary group focuses on applications of advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence, bridging the valley of death between academics and industry.
Flanders Make (https://www.flandersmake.be/nl) is a strategic research center in Flanders focused on supporting and strengthen the long-term competitiveness of the manufacturing industry through technological innovation and pre-competitive, industry-driven, and excellent research.
