Job summary

H1 Healthcare is seeking experienced Youth Workers for casual agency shifts across Penrith and surrounding NSW. Join a national staffing provider and work flexible AM, PM, night, and sleepover shifts immediately.

As a Youth Worker, you will deliver trauma-informed care to young people in residential settings, provide one-on-one and group support, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to foster a safe, positive living environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Youth Work, Community Services or related field.
• Experience in residential care or youth support settings.
• Current WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, National Police Check.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid NSW Driver Licence.
• Trauma-informed care experience.
• Sleepover/overnight shift availability.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Youth Worker, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to young people in residential care settings.

• Delivering mental health and behavioural support
• Providing one-on-one and group-based care
• Supporting young people through crisis and emotional challenges
• Implementing trauma-informed practices
• Contributing to a safe, stable, and positive living environment

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families

Mandatory Requirements (Essential)

• Diploma or higher qualification in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Work, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working in residential care and/or youth support environments
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current National Police Check
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Valid NSW Driver Licence
• Proven experience in Trauma-Informed Care
• Availability for sleepover and active overnight shifts is highly regarded
