Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland seeks a Youth Worker in Kingaroy to support children and young people in out-of-home care. You will work within a trauma-informed, therapeutic CARE model to help families feel safe, supported and valued.

This casual, community-focused role offers an hourly rate of $50.61 plus casual loading, superannuation and not-for-profit salary packaging, with training opportunities and flexible rosters for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or related field.
• Experience applying CARE principles in practice.
• Blue Card, First Aid & CPR current.

Responsibilities

• Work with children and young people using a therapeutic centred approach.
• Support stable, trauma informed, non-family-based care arrangements.
• Complete verbal and written reports and manage daily tasks.
