Job summary

selectability is seeking a passionate Youth Worker to join our growing team in Bowen. The role involves providing accommodation and intensive support to children and young people with diverse needs, helping them live their best lives in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work as part of a committed team, following policies and procedures, and engaging with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Must have Cert IV qualification recognised under child safety standards.
• Certification in Hope and Healing for residential care (to be obtained upon commencement).
• Clear communication and accuracy in record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people to live their best life in a residential setting.
• Provide accommodation and intensive support to youth with diverse needs.
• Promote stable, consistent teams to aid recovery and wellbeing.
