Qualifications

About the Role

The Youth Work Coordinators primary duties will be completing the rostering and timesheets for Youth Workers within the Robina and Springwood Region (Including Family Based Care and Residential).

This role is designated as a hybrid position with in‑person attendance at the Robina and Springwood office as needed. The position is available as a full‑time permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare rosters to ensure risks are managed and staff levels reflect the needs of clients.
  • Monitor and support the coordination of new Youth Workers including induction and onboarding.
  • Complete timesheets and approvals in Kronos.
  • Monitor schedules (such as grey fleet probity) for the program.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar (essential).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or similar (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in the Child Welfare or health related fields with significant coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trends and contemporary practices regarding child protection and in‑home and out‑of‑home care programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant legislation regarding child protection and in‑home and out‑of‑home care programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals, families and/or groups from a strength‑based, culturally appropriate perspective.
  • Demonstrated high‑level ability to work with individuals, families and/or groups from a strength‑based, culturally appropriate perspective.
  • Current Driver Licence.
