Job summary

Kruger State School in Ipswich seeks a dedicated role to provide behaviour support and promote student wellbeing using the PBL framework and Trauma-Informed Practices. You will collaborate with students, families and staff to implement effective support plans.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and Trauma-Informed Practices (TIPs).
• Ability to collaborate with students, staff and families to develop support plans.
• Experience promoting student well-being and engagement across school settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify barriers to student engagement and connect students with support services.
• Support students to achieve positive learning outcomes and remain engaged in education.
• Build relationships with students, families, school staff and community services.
• Monitor attendance and implement early intervention strategies.
• Conduct home visits and provide practical support where required.
• Maintain accurate records of student contact and support.
• Develop programs supporting social and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist students experiencing difficulties at school or home.
