Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council – Orange NSW is seeking a Youth on Track Caseworker to deliver culturally safe, strengths-based support for 10–17 year olds at risk of involvement with justice systems. The role focuses on case management, referrals, mentoring and community connections.

It requires safeguarding Aboriginal identity and collaboration with families and services. The position is full-time (38 hours per week) in Orange NSW, offering a supportive, culturally connected working

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and families, especially those with complex needs.
• Experience operating within a case management framework.
• Ability to coordinate with a broad network of services and referrals.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and advocacy skills.
• Understanding of culturally appropriate and trauma-informed service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with young people, families and communities to identify concerns and supports.
• Provide culturally safe, client-centred case management.
• Help young people set goals and facilitate access to services and referrals.
• Coordinate pathways to cultural, educational and community supports.
• Build relationships with local service providers and networks.
• Maintain accurate case notes and plans and support positive change.
