Job summary

Community Staffing Australia – Sunshine VIC is seeking a casual Child, Youth and Family Support Worker to provide on-call support across multiple out-of-home care settings in Victoria. Immediate start with a casual/temporary arrangement.

You will engage with children and young people, demonstrate empathy and strong communication, and maintain safety and confidentiality. Requirements include relevant qualifications, police checks, a valid driver licence, WWCC, NDIS check, and vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 or Cert IV in Community Services or currently studying in a related field.
• On-call availability between 6 am and 8 pm on weekdays.
• Available three days a week.
• Able to work regular business hours, afternoons, weekends, overnight stays and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting, engaging and mentoring children across OoHC settings.
• Provide empathetic, stable support for young people in care.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy of young people and families.
