Job summary

headspace Warwick, part of RHealth, is seeking an experienced health professional to join their team delivering low to moderate intensity, early intervention mental health services to the Warwick community. Reporting to the Centre Manager with support from the Clinical Lead, you will work with young people presenting with anxiety, depression and eating disorders, including gender-diverse youth.

You will assess clients, develop case formulations, provide counselling and group interventions,

Qualifications

• Registered health professional with current registration.
• Experience delivering youth-focused mental health support.
• Experience with brief, moderate, extended and group interventions.
• Ability to work in a rural Warwick community.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients with anxiety, depression and eating disorders.
• Provide youth-focused support including gender diverse clients.
• Develop understanding through case formulation and assessment.
• Provide counselling and evidence-based interventions in brief, moderate, extended and group forms.
• Monitor client risk factors at all times.
• Take accurate case notes and comply with the quality framework.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals for referral and outreach.
• Participate in community events and advocacy to improve accessibility of the centre.

Delivering low to moderate intensity, early intervention services to the people in the Warwick community, you will be helping improve the wellbeing of your clients.
