Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a Year 1 Primary Teacher for St Rita's Primary School, Victoria Point. This full-time fixed-term position starts ASAP and runs through to the end of the 2026 school year, with a salary range of 86,601 to 124,725 AUD per year plus 12.75% superannuation.

You will create a nurturing classroom, align with the Australian Curriculum, and collaborate with staff, parents and the community to deliver inclusive Catholic education.

Qualifications

• Ability to create a nurturing, learner-centred classroom.
• Ability to design and deliver curriculum aligned with Australian Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
• Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and pedagogy.
• Assess and report student progress and outcomes to students, parents and community.
• Collaborate with leadership, teachers and staff to foster a positive school culture.
• Engage in professional learning to improve student outcomes.
