Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in Canberra seeks a hands-on Yard Hand/Depot Assistant to prepare, load, unload and organise equipment. You will assist with customer collections, conduct basic inspections and maintain a safe depot environment.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence, a hands-on attitude, reliability and strong teamwork. Forklift/White Card/EWP tickets are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver's licence is required.
• физically fit and willing to perform hands-on work (yard/depot tasks).
• Reliable, punctual and able to assist where needed.
• Forklift licence or equivalent is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and organise equipment.
• Load and unload plant, machinery and equipment.
• Assist with customer collections and returns.
• Conduct basic visual inspections and report damage or maintenance requirements.
• Safely move and organise equipment throughout the yard.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe depot environment.
• Assist workshop and operations teams when required.
• Check equipment and accessories against hire requirements.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Follow WHS procedures and safe work practices.
• Complete general yard, depot and housekeeping duties.
