What does the job look like?
As the Yard Coordinator at Bullsbrook, you'll help move freight safely, maintain accurate stock records, and support the flow of trucks, contractors and equipment throughout the day. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating freight movements in and out of the yard, and supporting essential compliance requirements that keep our site running at the standards Linfox is known for.
Inventory & Reporting
- Maintain detailed stock counts for FMG, BHP and Linfox freight using the Bullsbrook Excel register.
- Monitor yard space usage for each customer and produce weekly reporting updates.
- Help resolve discrepancies by physically verifying stored items and providing photos or updates to stakeholders.
Freight Handling & Yard Flow
- Safely load and unload general freight and sea containers using 8.6T and 1.75T forklifts, completing all required pre‑start checks.
- Ensure freight is positioned in the correct areas without blocking access to other stock.
- Direct crane operators, riggers and truck drivers to maintain safe, efficient traffic flow through the yard.
Documentation & Systems
- Prepare essential freight documents including Load Plans, TRFs and Container Weight Declarations.
- Manage the Bullsbrook SharePoint site by uploading load plans, compliance checks and operational records.
- Respond to stock queries via email, providing clear details, photos and supporting documentation as required.
Site Presentation & Compliance
- Maintain the immediate yard and office surrounds, including light gardening (lawn care, trimming, weeding) with tools provided.
- Support compliance tasks such as fire break checks, fire pump function checks, plumbing verification, and upload of load restraint audits.
- Keep the yard tidy by managing pallets, chains, gluts, binders and waste disposal.
Operational Support
- Conduct visitor inductions and ensure all contractors understand site rules and movement requirements.
- Track and request supplies such as stationery, cleaning items, refreshments and PPE to support daily site operations.

You’re someone who enjoys taking ownership of a busy operational environment and brings both practical skills and strong attention to detail. You can confidently operate forklifts, maintain accurate stock data, and communicate clearly with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also demonstrate:
- Hold a valid LF forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in yard, warehouse or transport operations (preferred).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle physical, administrative and safety tasks.
- A proactive, hands‑on attitude with a commitment to safe work practices.
