Job summary

English Academy Wahroonga invites experienced writers and English teachers to join our growing team. We provide intensive writing and reading programs for students from Year 1 to Year 12, delivered in a supportive, small-class environment.

Choose teaching hours and year levels that suit you, with ready-to-teach resources and a collaborative culture at our Wahroonga centre, 100m from the train station and with ample public parking.

Qualifications

• Are experienced writers with good teaching skills, or current/retired English teachers with primary or high school teaching experience.
• Hold a degree in Teaching/ English, or have substantial writing practice or strong real-world experience.
• Have strong written English skills and a genuine enthusiasm for helping young people become better writers and readers.
• Are reliable, professional and confident working with small groups of students.

Responsibilities
