Job summary

Pirtek Prestons is seeking an enthusiastic trades person to join our workshop team as a Workshop Technician, offering security and future opportunities. The successful applicant will bring a trade qualification; hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge is desirable but not essential, and a reliable, customer‑focused approach is essential.

Presentation and a professional appearance are valued, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required; Mechanic/Fitter an advantage.
• Hydraulic or Pneumatic experience desirable but not essential.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.
• Strong ability to perform consistent and accurate work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pride in presentation and well groomed appearance.
• Ability to use tools and measuring devices accurately.
• Strong focus on faultless customer service.
• Maturity and ability to work independently.
• Team player with the ability to meet customer deadlines.
• Must be available to work 8am–12pm every second Saturday.
• Drivers licence required.

• Relevant trade qualification i.e. Mechanic/Fitter an advantage.
• Hydraulic / Pneumatic experience desirable but not essential.
