Job summary

All Lift Forklifts and Access Equipment in Salisbury, QLD is seeking a Forklift/Access Technician for our workshop. You will diagnose, service and manage pre hires and off hires on forklifts, telehandlers and access gear, delivering high-quality service to customers.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Trade Certificate with diesel and hydraulics knowledge, and can work within set time frames. We value hands-on, customer-focused teamwork and a supportive environment with above‑award wages.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in forklifts/mechanical trade (Forklift Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or light vehicle).
• Solid understanding of diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Ability to work within time frames.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, pre-hire and off-hire on equipment at Salisbury workshop.
• Respond to breakdowns and fault-finding on forklifts, telehandlers and access equipment.
• Deliver high level of service to customers as part of a technician team.
• Maintain workshop efficiency and safety while servicing equipment.

We are a family owned and run forklift and access equipment rental and salescompany based in Brisbane, QLD and other eastern states.Due to rapid growth a full time position has become available to join our service department.

The Role

We are seeking a Forklift/Access Technician to be based at our workshop in Salisbury, diagnosis, servicing, pre hires and off hires on all our equipment. As part of a dedicated team of technicians, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of service to our customers specialising in our range of forklifts, telehandlers and access equipment covering breakdowns, fault finding and servicing.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

Mechanical Trade Certificate (Forklift Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or light vehicle).

Forklift licence (desirable)

Solid understanding of diesel and hydraulics.

Can work within time frames

With your trade qualification or mechanical experience under your belt you enjoy being in a hands on customer facing role. Team player and motivated to help grow the business.
