Job summary

Future Generation Snowy 2.0 is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee all workshop maintenance activities for mobile plant and supporting equipment on the Snowy 2.0 site in New South Wales. The role focuses on safe, efficient operations, guiding a team of technicians and contractors to meet operational readiness and continuous improvement objectives.

You will lead planning with engineers, manage parts and procurement, and uphold safety and compliance standards while driving workforce

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in a mechanical trade.
• Experience supervising workshop or plant maintenance.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software.
• Licences such as HR/HC, forklift or high‑risk licences preferred.
• White Card and relevant site certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workshop maintenance for mobile plant and equipment.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain a safe system of work.
• Plan and prioritise maintenance to maximise machine availability.
• Assist engineers with weekly planning and scheduling.
• Monitor equipment performance and address operator concerns.
• Lead workforce performance, training, and succession planning.
• Oversee contractor activities for safety and scope compliance.
