Job summary

Christians Bus Company in Melbourne's west is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the workshop team supporting bus operations across Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Werribee. You will drive fleet safety, reliability and maintenance standards while improving efficiency.

This hands-on leadership role requires a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic with strong leadership, management experience and an interest in Electric Vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a workshop team in transport or similar.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Interest in Electric Vehicles (EVs).
• Knowledge of COR and large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the workshop team in a modern facility.
• Drive fleet safety, reliability and maintenance standards.
• Improve workshop efficiency and processes.
• Develop and mentor Workshop Supervisors and Mechanics.
• Collaborate with Fleet and Operations to deliver improvements.
