Hitachi Construction Machinery in Western Australia is seeking a motivated Workshop HD Fitter for their Forrestdale Branch. In this role, you will assemble, maintain, and repair a variety of mining and construction equipment according to customer specifications.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Mobile Plant (or similar) trade qualifications required.
  • Experience with assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction/mining equipment.
  • Safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintenance of both new and used equipment.
  • Conduct basic failure analysis and identify specific modes of failure.
  • Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely.
  • Complete and submit all relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
