Job summary

Mactech Diesel Solutions in Rocklea, a family-owned heavy diesel workshop, is seeking a qualified diesel mechanic to join our crew. You’ll diagnose, service and repair earthmoving equipment and Japanese trucks, with a hands-on approach and pride in your workmanship.

Work hours are flexible with daily overtime and a supportive small-team atmosphere. You’ll work in a proper workshop with crane and hoist, and enjoy a friendly, straight-talk culture where hard work is rewarded.

Qualifications

• Experience across a variety of earthmoving equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills and pride in your work.
• Reliable, hardworking and easy to get along with.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing and repairing earthmoving equipment across makes/models.
• Servicing and repairing Japanese trucks (Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, UD).
• Problem solving on all gear; not just swapping components.

Mactech Diesel Solutions is a family-owned heavy diesel business in Rocklea, servicing Japanese trucks, earthmoving equipment and plant across South East Queensland. We're looking for a qualified diesel mechanic to join our workshop crew on $40–$55/hr, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• - Diagnosing, servicing and repairing a wide range of earthmoving equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers and graders, across different makes and models
• - Servicing and repairing Japanese trucks (Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, UD)
• - Problem solving on all sorts of gear. No two days are the same, and you won't just be swapping components on one fleet.

• - Experience across a variety of earthmoving equipment
• - Strong diagnostic skills and pride in your work
• - Reliable, hardworking and easy to get along with
• - Current driver's licence
