Job summary

KINNECT is seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Counsellor or Provisional/Fully Qualified Psychologist in Nundah to join a multidisciplinary team focused on workplace rehabilitation. You will help individuals engage in meaningful occupations using client-centred approaches to promote health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration for Psychologists.
• Eligibility for or current full ASORC membership for Rehabilitation Counsellors.
• Passion for helping others and client-centred approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective time management and organisational ability.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Competence with case management software and general IT tools.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Support workers with psychological injuries to return to work by developing graded plans with stakeholders.
• Provide adjustment to injury counselling to help workers understand their injury and coping strategies.
• Identify employment goals through vocational counselling and complete vocational assessments.
• Assist with job-seeking and job placement to obtain employment aligned with capacity and local labour market.
