Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Functional Architect for Workday Student in the Australian Higher Education sector. You will lead functional strategy, align Workday Student capabilities with university operations, and shape solutions across ANZ campuses.

The role requires deep Workday Student experience, governance, and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with university leaders and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Current Workday Student certification, or commitment to obtain it.
• Experience in Australian or New Zealand university environment.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional architecture for Workday Student programs across ANZ universities.
• Own end-to-end student lifecycle design including admissions, records, and graduation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with TCSI, TEQSA, ESOS/CRICOS and related obligations.
• Mentor consultants and coordinate with engagement managers and senior stakeholders.
• Translate strategy into actionable solution roadmaps.
