Job summary

HB Group in Queensland is seeking a Windscreen Technician / Trainee to join a small, family-owned business. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training, a supportive team, and a clear pathway to specialise in windscreen installation and glass repair.

You will work with experienced technicians, learn to fit and replace windscreens across vehicles and heavy equipment, and develop practical glass-handling skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Fitting windscreens with quality and precision.
• Removing and replacing damaged windscreens, side and rear glass.
• Handling glass across cars, trucks, buses, earthmoving and agricultural machinery.
• Removing moulds and trims around damaged glass.
• Installing pre-cut and shaped glass and cutting glass with templates.
• Repairing or replacing damaged glass and components.
• Maintaining a clean, safe workshop.
• Providing professional and friendly customer service.
