Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician across Australia to maintain and service wind turbines, leveraging electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic expertise. The role involves safety-focused field work, inspections, and on-site technical troubleshooting with a focus on high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, replacing components, and using monitoring systems to ensure turbines operate reliably.

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic trade with a passion to develop your skills further.
• Good computer skills and experience with monitoring tools.
• Good English skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met.
• Carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics components replacement and troubleshooting.
• Ensure smooth operation of turbines using condition monitoring and remote control systems.
