Job summary

Monadelphous are currently seeking a HSE Advisor to join our Engineering & Construction E&I division, working on our wind farm construction project in the Pilbara, WA. It's a new technology platform, first of its kind to be built in Australia, starting with a 17-turbine pilot and potential for the project to scale significantly.

This position is a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, with all Australian major cities return flights paid.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a site-based HSE role, ideally with construction contractors on multiscope projects.
• Certificate IV in OHS/WHS or higher.
• Exposure to high risk works (cranes, rigging, rope access, heavy lift, electrical).
• Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and standards.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and expertise to manage issues and improve HSE performance, culture and management.
• Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.
• Monitor work practices to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures and standards.
• Ensure all HSE processes (JHAs, permits) comply with legislation and company standards.
• Provide hands-on support to implement HSE improvements and plans.
• Maintain knowledge of contemporary HSE practices to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct analyses of HSE performance data and follow up on recommendations.
