Qualifications

• Admission to practice as a lawyer in Victoria.
• Experience in wills, estates, probate and succession law.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Excellent drafting skills for clear legal documents.
• Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with clients.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with legal practice management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drafting wills, powers of attorney, and other testamentary documents.
• Provide estate planning advice to protect assets and intergenerational wealth.
• Manage probate and succession matters including grants of probate and letters of administration.
• Advise executors and administrators on duties and responsibilities.
• Handle estate disputes and contentious probate matters as required.
• Review and advise on existing wills and estate plans.
• Maintain detailed client files and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
