Job summary

Tablelands Regional Council is seeking a WHS Lead Business Partner to provide leadership to the WHS team and advise across management and worker levels. The role focuses on implementing WHS legislation and TRC policies while coaching stakeholders and building a strong safety culture in a full-time permanent capacity at Atherton.

Job description

Our Atherton team is looking for a Influential and approachableindividual to join our WHS Department as a full-time permanent WHS Lead Business Partner.

The WHS Lead Business Partner provides leadership and guidance to the WHS team as well as providing advice, training, consultation, coaching and support to stakeholders to ensure relevant WH&S legislation, and TRC policies and procedures are implemented and effective. This role provides specialist WHS advice to the WHS team and all management and worker levels.

  • Base salary package from $98,896.80 per annum ($3,803.72 per fortnight)
  • Locality allowances (if eligible)
  • Attractive work/life balance - 72.5 hours per fortnight

  • Access to pro-rata long service leave after 7 years' of service
