Job summary

Atlas Copco Australia is seeking a safety and HR professional to grow across SHEQ and HR, supporting compliance, administration and employee documentation. You will join a diverse, hands-on team and contribute to accurate records and ongoing improvements.

Reporting to the SHEQ & HR Manager, you will coordinate training records, inductions and onboarding activities, maintain safety systems, and assist with audits, compliance tracking and reporting while handling confidential information with

Qualifications

  • Experience in WHS, HR or business support administration, with exposure to coordination, compliance or employee-related processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate SHEQ (WHS) administration, compliance activities, reporting requirements and documentation.
  • Maintain safety systems, registers, records and controlled documents to ensure compliance.
  • Support audits, inspections, incident reporting, corrective actions and compliance tracking.
  • Coordinate training records, inductions, onboarding activities and employee documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and other administrative materials.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring SHEQ and HR information remains accurate and confidential.

About the Role:

This opportunity would suit someone with a passion for safety, compliance and people support who is looking to further develop their career across SHEQ and HR. You'll support a range of compliance, administration and employee-related activities while helping to maintain accurate systems, records and documentation across the business. Reporting to the SHEQ & HR Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting both our people and operations.

What you'll be doing:

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in WHS, HR or business support administration, with exposure to coordination, compliance or employee-related processes.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, take initiative and maintain confidentiality.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the initiative to take ownership and drive outcomes.
  • Qualifications in WHS, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field will be highly regarded, together with a genuine interest in safety, compliance and people-focused processes.
