Job summary

Whitsunday Regional Council seeks an experienced Electrician with air conditioning experience for a busy Strathdickie-based team. You will work Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, servicing clients across the Whitsunday region.

The role involves electrical installs, AC servicing, fault finding, and documentation. The ideal candidate holds an Electrical trade qualification and current Electrical Licence, with 10+ years of electrical experience and AC exposure.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and current Electrical Licence.
• 10+ years' electrical experience (highly regarded).
• Demonstrated air conditioning experience.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.
• Ability to work confidently and independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, maintenance and repair work.
• Air conditioning servicing and associated electrical works.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Travelling to jobs between Bowen and Midge Point.
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Providing professional service to customers.
• Completing relevant job documentation.
