Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a Labourer with basic welding skills for their Riverview, Queensland operation. The role combines practical labouring tasks with straightforward welding, in a busy production setting.

No advanced fabrication required; MIG welding is a plus, and ongoing training is provided. Hours are Monday to Friday, 38 per week, with a standard shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and occasional early shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic welding skills (MIG welding preferred).
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Welding reinforcement cages (reo cages) for precast concrete pits.
• Basic steel welding to drawings and specifications.
• General labouring and manual handling.
• Assisting with fabrication and yard operations.
• Supporting warehouse and production activities.
