Job summary

Randstad have partnered with BAE Systems to recruit highly skilled FIFO Welders to work on a major defence shipbuilding project in Adelaide, South Australia.

Multiple swing options available with 3/1, 4/1, 5/1, or 6/1 patterns. Market pay of 83+ AUD/hour including casual and shift loading, plus overtime. Fly from any capital city, with modern private accommodation and a $100 daily meal allowance. Onboarding Week 1 on Day shift; NSSIC/ITAR clearance required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Fabrication experience with MIG or Flux Core Welding.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications.
• Working as part of a fabrication team to produce components.
• Adhering to strict safety procedures and site requirements.

• 3 weeks on, 1 week off
• 4 weeks on, 1 week off
• 5 weeks on, 1 week off
• 6 weeks on, 1 week off

$83+ per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading and 30% shift loading) + overtime

Adelaide Site - Work Monday to Friday and enjoy your weekends off

Please note, onboarding and training will take place Week 1 on Day Shift. These hours will be paid at Day Shift Rate.

Example of a 3/1 Shift Pattern

Week 1

• Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 12:30am
• Friday 1:30pm - 9:30pm or 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Week 2

• Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 12:30am
• Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am

Week 3

• Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 12:30am
• Friday 1:30pm - 9:30pm or 3:30pm - 7:30pm

As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
