Job summary

Stratco is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy workshop in Adelaide. You will handle surface prep, powder application, colour changeovers, and maintain safety and quality throughout the finishing process.

Our ideal candidate has proven powder coating experience in manufacturing, understands pretreatment processes, and is a reliable team player who takes pride in delivering durable, high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, cleaning and masking.
• Powder application across a range of finishes.
• Manage colour changeovers with zero cross contamination.
• Oversee surface pre-treatments including cleaning and phosphating.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and operate spray booths and curing ovens.

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Powder coater to join a busy, fast-paced workshop known for quality workmanship and attention to detail.

We Take Pride In Delivering Durable, High-quality Finishes — And We’re Looking For Someone Who Takes The Same Pride In Their Craft. Your Expertise Will Enable You To Undertake

• Surface preparation, cleaning and masking
• Powder application across a range of finishes
• Manage colour changeovers ensuring zero cross contamination
• Oversee the surface pre-treatment (cleaning, washing, phosphating) of materials
• Maintain a clean and safe environment - troubleshooting powder spray booths, guns, reciprocators, wash tanks and curing ovens.
  

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Proven experience as a powder coater, ideally from within a manufacturing environment
• Detailed understanding of powder coating application methods, chemical pretreatment processes and machinery
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• An outstanding team player!
