Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Perform welding tasks using various welding processes.
• Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components and structures.
• Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and quality standards will be a key part of the role.
• Identify and report any issues with welding equipment or materials.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area will also be required.

To be a successful applicant, you will need to possess the following:

• The ability to pass a weld test in the Townsville Workshop.
• Current

Work at Heights and Confined Space certificates are advantageous.

• A strong commitment to safety is essential.
