Job summary

JK Personnel is seeking Welders for long-term opportunities within an established manufacturing business in the Ballarat region. These roles offer consistent day-shift hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, and may suit both qualified welders or those with recent experience looking to build their skills.

Your day-to-day duties include fabrication and assembly work, reading plans and designs, and tackling projects to specifications using hand and power tools, with overhead cranes

Qualifications

• Experience in welding or hands-on fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and designs.
• Willingness to perform tack welding and assembly work.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a workshop environment.

The Opportunity

JK Personnel is seeking Welders for long-term opportunities within an established manufacturing business in the Ballarat region.

The Role

Working within a hands-on production environment, you’ll complete a variety of welding and assembly tasks either independently or alongside another team member. This includes completing detailed fabrication work from plans and specifications along with tack welding and assembly work.

Your day-to-day duties may include:

• Fabrication and assembly work
• Reading and interpreting plans and designs
• Working to project specifications
• Using hand and power tools
• Using overhead cranes to move materials and finished products
• Checking completed work for quality and accuracy
• Maintaining safe work practices throughout the workshop
