Job summary

St Vincent’s Public Hospital Sydney invites applications for an Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation (Weekend). This max-term, part-time (8 hours per week) role supports a seven-day rehabilitation service, delivering patient-centred OT to inpatients across the hospital campus, with weekend shifts and a rotating Saturday/Sunday schedule.

You will be registered OT with AHPRA, hold NSW Class C Driver’s Licence, and bring experience in acute/sub-acute hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Australian AHPRA registration.
• Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide an integrated, patient-centred Occupational Therapy service to inpatients across St Vincent’s Hospital campus, including new referrals and handover-based therapy.
• Assess occupational needs and design patient-centred interventions with discharge planning in mind.
• Demonstrate time management and organisation to prioritise clinical tasks within finite resources.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and manage an allocated caseload independently when required.
• Contribute to service evaluation, quality improvement and research activities as indicated.
