Job summary

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney seeks a casual Weekend Physiotherapist to provide high‑quality assessments and interventions in ICU and acute wards as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. You will work autonomously within the Level 1/2 Casual Weekend Physiotherapy framework.

Applicants must hold a Physiotherapy degree with AHPRA registration, and have at least 2 years in an acute hospital setting; ICU experience is preferred. Strong IT, communication, and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years in acute hospital settings, ICU experience preferred.
• Proven skills across Cardiorespiratory, Surgical, Neurological, and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention in ICU and acute wards.
• Provide autonomous, evidence-based care aligned with COBL pathways.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient flow.
